Pies and Tarts
Filled with seasonal fruit, cream fillings, and chocolate, pastry is always a good idea.
For basic pastry recipes, make our all-butter Basic Pie Dough. If you don't have butter or want to try something new, try Vegan Pie Dough. For slightly more experienced bakers, give Sweet Shortcrust Pastry a try.
If fresh fruit-filled pies are for you, whip up a Fresh Apricot Pie, Granny Smith Apple Pie, or Vegan Blueberry Pie. If you don't want to make your own pastry, make a quick batch of Peach Turnovers with frozen puff pastry instead.
For desserts without loads of fresh fruit, try Mincemeat Tarts or a rich, smooth Chocolate Ganache Tart with toasted hazelnuts. For something a bit zippier, make a Lemon Chess Pie.
