Since most of us are home the majority of the time right now – and some might not be able to leave for a few weeks – we’ve put together a collection of recipes made with non-perishable ingredients and common pantry staples. We’ll be adding to this list in the coming weeks, and adding new recipes to BAKED using these types of ingredients over the next while.
As we’re currently living in less certain times, with so many of us spending most of our time at home, baking can be a great comfort. Maybe you have a bit more time saved from no commute or just feel like baking more right now. We get it, because we’re all in the same boat – and we love to bake!
These simple pantry recipes for baking with whatever’s in the house, from sourdough to doughnuts. These recipes rely on shelf-stable pantry staples like flour, sugar, and salt, with some butter and other ingredients that can be easily stored in the freezer. Alongside the recipes are some ideas on substitutions and baking with alternative ingredients.
We’ve also added a new pantry friendly recipes section on the blog which we’ll keep updated over the coming period with new recipes.
If you make any of these pantry recipes, let us know by tagging @baked_theblog + #bakedtheblog on Instagram! We love to feel like we’re in the kitchen with you.
